“For such a time as this…” Esther 4:14 | The 13th Annual Ladies Tea 2015
We are blessed to have two of “our very own” speaking today!
Our first speaker is Michelle Adams, a Southern California native growing up in the OC and attending church here in Corona. She is the youngest of three to one of our elders, Mark and his wife Barbara. Her sister Lauren and brother Eric round out this loving family.
Michelle was homeschooled from middle school to high school and is a graduate of Oklahoma Christian University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Michelle has done internships in Youth and Children’s ministries as well as Nonprofit Fundraising, working to find her role in the Kingdom.
Michelle has traveled to Ghana; West Africa twice on Mission trips, as well as several trips to Mexico and domestically.
She is a coffee connoisseur, nature’s enthusiast, and an avid cat lover.
Favorite Quote – “be the change you wish to see in the world” – Mahatma Gandhi. Her favorite verse: Micah 6:8 – “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
Our second speaker is Karri Harris. Karri has been married to her husband Darren for 16 years. She has two amazing children, Aidan who is 10, almost 11 and 5-year-old Ainsley, who she refers to as her “Million dollar babies”. She is the daughter of our own John and Marlene Hall, and sister to Amber and her family who currently live in North Carolina.
Karri teaches High School English online. She says she loves to run because she loves to eat. Dark Chocolate is her biggest vice. She is an avid Scrap booker and she is addicted to watching Forensic Files. Karri loves to read and study the Bible. Her favorite verse is Hebrews 13:2 – “Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it”.
We want to thank everyone who has made this day possible for us: the wonderful ladies in our program, and our gracious Hostesses: Jeanette Bracy, Marlene Hall, Meneia Perry, Pauline Rodriguez, Virginia Shellman, Chrissy Schwiger, Andrea Mazo, Emily Mazo, Elisa Wright and Roxanne Wright.
Our wonderful Servers: husbands, sons, and friends.
And thanks to all of you who have come today to share in this special event, that we look forward to each year. A time to step away from our busy lives and enjoy a day of sharing and fellowship. We hope you are blessed by our time together and will take something away with you that may inspire your walk with the Lord.
Roxanne Wright – for the ladies of the
Corona Church of Christ.
